years ago the fact was established

Tho committee of stockholders of
the Limestone Cotton Manufacturing
Company sp<Mil last Thursday and
Friday inspecting tho- many locations
offered the company to locate the
mill on. They gave each place a
careful examination, counted advan
tages and disadvantages of each and
finally decided to take forty acres of
land of the C. P. Turner estate and
thirty-five acres adjoining the Turner
land, of Dr. Settlemeycr.
The location is in the north eastern
suburbs of the city, is located between
the Southern und S. C. AG. E. rail
roads and is in every way suitable for
the purpose and wiil bo connected
with both roads by spurs of track
and only cost $100 per acre, which
was a great concession to secure the
locution in that part of tho city.
