Lem Blanton, one of the best farm
ers in Cherokee county, comes to the
front on the wheat question. Since
the middle of November he planted
two and a half bushels of wheat on
six acres of land, using sixty bushels
of cotton seed and four sacks of acid.
The land was ordinary cotton land.
He simply run out the cotton stalks,
harrowed the'Hand, scattered the
fertilizer and sowed the wheat, doing
the ploughing with small ploughs,
and the result ' was seventy-six
bushels of clean wheat.

the matter with her throat. She

her wind pipe.

Dear Sir:—Replying to your letter
of the 7th we do not think that any

Mr. G. 1). Carrier may state in refer

that we do not sell him goods is that
we do not handle anything so inferior
as the rod that lie is selling, and you
know that every good lightning rod
man knows that we cannot afford to
put our class of goods in the hands
of Mr. Carrier, or men of that type
selling such a poor line of goods.
