Obituary.
Francis Lee. the iiltlu three year ;
old son of John B. and Edna Ecast-
erly, sweetly went to rest on the
morning of January the 27th. For
three or more weeks his suffering was ;
very intense. Nearly all of this time 1
lie seemed to be suspended between :
life and death. His power of endur
ance was wonderful. But the Lord i
had a better plan for him and sent
his messenger to call him home.
Little I rank was the hope and joy of
his mother’s heart and all who knew
him soon learned to love him. His
short, but bright little life will j
not soon be forgotten. He leaves a
a grief-stricken mother with many i
other relatives and friends who
mourn his loss. Not quite one year
ago his father was suddenly taken
. from
Prof. IT. P. Griffith’s. The doctor is
on his way north to take a special on ^
course fn the treatment of the eye,
ear and throat.
Miss Ella Major; left Tuesday for
Henrietta, where she expects to re
side in t lie fut ure.
Julian Ross, one of Blacksburg’s
popular young men. was in the city
last Saturday. Win-n lie reached i
home, however, he was minus his

him, and a few weeks later an ,
sister followed—now. he has
gone, i he Lord bless the stricken
mother in this dark, dark hour. May '
our Father give her grace
