HEART PISEASEl
Fluttering, No Appetite, Could Not
Sleep, Wind on Stomach.
.. "For a long time I had a terrible
pain at my heart, which fluttered al
most incessantly. I had no appetite
and could not sleep. I would be com
pelled to sit up in bed and belch gas
from my stomach until I thought
that every minute would be my last
There was a feeding of oppression
about my heart, and I was afraid to
draw a full breath. I could not sweep
a room without resting. My hus
band induced me to try
Dr. Miles’ Heart Cure
and am happy to say it has cured
me. I now have a splendid appetite
and sleep well. Its pfTcct was truly
marvelous.”

Corinth’s Choice Chowder.
| Correspondence of Tin; Lkdukk.I
Cohintii, H. C., July 2.—Last
Saturday and Sunday the unions
met at Corinth. We had some fine
speaking on Saturday and Sunday,
Amos Clary gave us a good Sunday
school talk. Rev. J. T. Brock
preached a very able sermon. Bro.
Brock made a very good impression
on the people. The Union was a
success throughout. The fact is tho
people around Corinth never make a
failure at any undertaking.
•L W. Rountree, of Centorvicw,
spent one night in this neighborhood
last week. By the way, Waddie is
our base ball pitcher and he’s a good
one, too.
Rev. and Mrs. Brock, of Pacolet
were at O. H. H. Clary’s last Satur
day night.
Messrs. Wofford Waters, Pink
Campbell and Lee Spake were at O.
H. 11. (firry’s last Sunday.
Mr. Frank Procter, of this neigh
borhood, was on the* sick list . last
week.- We hope it isn’t very serious.
Mr. and Mrs. I no. Kendrick, of
Ashury. visited John Bridges and
family'lust Saturday;night.
Another young man, or hoy rather,
is heartbroken. We woulden't be
surprised at any time to hoar of bis
committing suicide though wo hope
be will not do anything >; > rash, but
we believe ho contemplates such an
act. If he does we will report i! next
week.

Marvelous Rcsuns.
From a letter written by Rev. J.
Gunderman, of Diamondale, Mich.,
we are permitted to make this ex
tract: “I Ji ive no hesitation in rec
ommending Dr.King’sN’ew Discovery
as the rssults were almost marvelous
in the case of my wife. While J was
pastor of the Baptist Church at Rives
Junction she was brought down with
pneumonia succeeding la grippe. Ter
rible paroxysms of coughing would
last hours w'th little interruption
and it seemed as if she could not sur
vive them. A friend recommended
Dr. King’s New Discovery; it was
quick in its work and highly satisfac
tory in results.” Trial Imlth < free
