raised his gun and fired. 1 Drew up the
gun with my hand, but do not now know

Anderson left his gun and fence rail on
the spot where he bad coil mltted the crime

escape to Beaufort, county, and was die-

waa called upon to surrender he ran and
was fired upon, but his oaptuie was rffeet-
