John Harrell, white, was stabbed in
the right arm on tbe 12th of January
by William Burton, colure 1, 12 years
old. The arm was dreesed and the cut
healed, but subsequently It was found
necessary to amputate the arm, and

Is in the Camden jail waiting results.
Gov. Qagood has offt-red a reward
of fiOO for the arrest and return to the
Camden j ill of J. J. Clyburu, under
sentence of death. Clyburu is a me
dium sized man, dark complexion,
black hair and eyes, very black teeth,
red gums, rather good looking, 5 feet
7 or 8 Inches tdgh and weighs 135
pounds. Sheriff Dohy effers an addi
tional reward of 9100.
Gilroy Green, colored, was shot and
killed near ths Alkrn freight depot by
Wade Lamar, white*. Green bad sto
len a hog from Mr. Lamar, and when
halted advanced towards him with a
piece ot roll in his band. Mr. Lamar
called to him three times to bolt,' but
b« continued to advance and was shot
three time* sad died before the haw
did. Mr. Lamar surreod-rvd himself
on bail for Ififib.
