spot in the centre, which gradually be
come* larger, until on the ninth day the
whole pocket except the margin haa the
appearance of a scab with a hollow point
in the centre. On the thirteenth day
the patient is sometimea covered with a
rash rose tabling scarlet fever. This u a
part of the disease aul ought not to be
mtoUken for erysipelas nor treated by
iodine or other external application for
fear of the fikeeee changing it* location
to aome internal organ, such aa luaga or
