It must be steeped In bright tin or earthenware. Strain nicely and add three drops of laudanum; bottle It tight and keep In a cool place. Uso as a wash, letting some of It get Into the eyes. Follow this and relief la certain. If the eyes are painful or much sore, make email, soft compresses, wet them In the mix ture and hind over the eyes at night. The textile exhibit la one of the Important features of the fair, no less than ftffirty-four New England cor porations are n presented, with a capi tal of $21.889,COO and employing 29,483 hands. These goods embrace nearly every known fabric aad are exhibited In alcoves to the front center of the lower flooE.
