and breast, some of the shot, it is pre

his wound and found it .to be very
serious, and on Wednesday morning
he was sent to the Colored Infirmary.
Houston, who rec ived three or four
j shots in the body, two in the abdomen,
was carried off by his friends, and
was believed to be in a dying condi
tion. In consequence of t lie affair oc
curring in the country, and those who
wete present probably fearing thay
might get into trouble if they said
much on the subject, it was not gener
