& Co., in Fairfield county, was destroy
ed by an incendiary fire, last week'

of Wm. Roberts was destroyed with
heavy lot tea. .
The Greenville Nows says that the
origin of the fire which destroyed the
Academy of Music*'fir that city, on
Sunday last, was evidently incendiary,
the policeman who gave* the alarm
stating that the light of the fire was
seen In the cellar under both Sloan
Bros.’ and Sloan, Lee A Taj lor.’s stores.
Mr. Leo states that they had no oc
casion to use the cellar on Sunday.
