rogative accusation is a somewhat novel
mode of attacking public men in South
Carolina, aud wc trust it has received its
quietus. It is a very reptchcnsiblc
method uf attack and deserves universal
contempt.
To illustrate more fully the char
acter of this attack upon Comptrol
ler General Hngood we shall apply the
