Cendenaera heretofore have bean arranged

This, then, is one point of improvement in
my condenser. By reversing the motion of
the real and blowing the cotton down on an
endless apron, lapping tha cotton, flake at a
time, on the reel is presented ; at the same
time tha meshee of the reel are kept clear of
e it ton Lhd a free passage of air and dust ac
quired. After the cotton ts dropped down
on the apron it is whipped round to four
rollers in from, where it forms a bat. Tbe
passage of the lint between these r 'Hers to
form a hat obviates the above troUbles, and de
livers the cotton with a beautiful fluffy ap-
pearace, perfectly clear of any napps or dust
at all. The attachment of fpur rollers is de
signed to make them doubly secure acaitisi
