his parents and his only brother, on
the evening of the seventh instant,
thirty-one years two months and five
days after his birth, In the arms of
his loved companion, In the bosom of

eberished for all those noble qualities
that make a man a real man. His bealtb
and physical condition seemed to be
perfect, until a cough and congestion
of the lungs brought on hemorrhage.
At first It was hoped, by skilful phy
sicians, to be local and curable; but
soon developed that formidable and
rapidly coneuming power which noth
ing of earth oouiu arrest.
As husband, son, brother and friend,
be was ail they could expect of human
ity, never having occasion to chide bis
delay of duty, or to suspect his fidel
ity. A modest, good citisen, scarcely
known beyond the circle of his friends
and acquaintances, but esteemed and
respected there by ail classes for his
manly,generous and liberal disposition.
There are many not of his immediate
family who will mourn bis untimely
