The little daughter of Mr. Afanville, who, as we stated in last 'week’s Issue, was dangerously sick with diptheriai, has since died.. We regret to learn that Mr. N. W. Peacock lost, his child on Monday night last. We are also Informed that he and hla wife are dangerously ill with fever. Major D. A. Hutto was in the villnge cm. Friday and reports the crops bs rather short. He says bilious fever has made Its appearance fa his neigh borhood.
