MOORE, Manager BARNWELL, S. C Ashleigh, Aug. 16.—The Ashleigh Woman’s Missionary Society met at the home of Mrs. Maxine Eubanks on Wednesday, Aug. 11th. A song and prayer opened the meeting, following which interesting talks were made by Mrs. Eubanks, Mrs. Ellen Black, Mrs. Lee Lancaster and Mrs. Edna Owens. A, ( musical reading and song by Mrs. D. T. Ross, ilrs. Edna Owens and daughters, Jennie Lou and Vera, was enjoyed. After the business session, re freshments consisting of crackers, sandwiches, cake and tea were served. Those present were Mrs. Lee Lan caster, Miss Emma Lancaster, Mrs. Billie Hair, Mrs. D. I. Ross. Mrs. Aiken Owens, Misses Vera and Jennie Lou Owens, Mra.
