NOTICE is hereby given that the
wndersigned intend to file with the
Secretary of State of South Carolina
on or after Monday, December 21st
1936, a Declaration for Charter for
the Edirto Hotel Company, a corpora
tion to have its principal place o '
business at Barnwell, S. C. The gen
oral nature of the business which saic
corporation proposes to do is that o
operating a hotel, to own, hold, sell
manage and deal in real estate, stocks
and bonds, to borrow and lend money,
to buy, sell, own and deal in mort
gages of all kinds, to mortgage any
or all of the property owned by it of
whatsoever nature, and to do al
things relative and incident to that
of the operation of said business
The Capital Stock of the proposed
corporation is to be $10,000.00, divid
ed into 100 shares of the par value

Treasurer’s Tax Notice!
The County Treasurer’s office will be open from September 15, 1936, to
April 15, 1937, for collecting 1936 taxes, .which include real and personal
property, poll and road tax.
All taxes due and payable between September 15 and December 31,
1936, will be collected without penalty. All taxes not paid as stated will be
subject to penalties as provided by law.
January 1st, 1937, one per cent, will be added.
February 1st, 1937, two per cent, will be added.
March 1st, 1937, three per cent, will be added.
April 1st to April 15th, 1937, seven per cent, will be added.
Executions will be placed in the hands of the Sheriff for collection af
ter April 15th, 1937.
When wiiting for amount of taxes, be sure and give school district if
property is in more than one school district.
