PLENTY OF I POTASH j mmi ynAuAe ymiA nesxt y&aA cAo~4j imtPi TIoIoaA COTTON RUST was more general throughout the South this year than ever before reported. Rust is increasing, and farmers are losing profits each year through reduced yields because of it. Southern experiment stations and farmers have shown that potash will control rust if used in sufficient quantities. They also have found that if enough potash is used to control rust, the bad effects from cotton wilt are greatly reduced. Prevent rust from developing on your farm by using a fertilizer containing 6-8% potash and a nitrogen-potash top-dresser. If rust has already appeared, use a fertilizer containing 8-10% potash and a nitrogen-potash top-dresser.
