WHAT IS HAPPENING
TO YOU? X

AF you are among those who are trying ta
get along without telephone service, a number
of thing<rare likely happening that may directly
influence the welfare of ^yourself and family.
You are probably missing the pleasant,
informal gatherings that are arranged by tele
phone. Or, if there are children in the home,
they no doubt feel cut off from the happy
contacts that the telephone affords.
Being without a telephone also deprives you
of the means of calling the doctor quickly, or
getting help in case of fire or other emergencies.
In short, the home without a telephone today is ^
isolated. - ^
