The People-Sentinel has a large number of delinquent subscribers
on its mailing list—a much larger number than we can afford to carry
any longer without a little co-operation on the part of the subscribers
themselves. We realize that conditions are not good, but there is
hardly a subscriber on our list who cannot afford to pay something on
account. Therefore, in order to raise some cash money at once and

at the same time reduce the number of delinquents, we have decided
to make the following—
SPECIAL OFFER:
One Year ^ . $1.50 Three Years . . $3.50
Two Years . . . $2.50 Five Years . . . $5.00
While no reduction has been made in the subscription rate for one year, the
above schedule offers a saving of 50 cents on two-year subscriptions; $1 on three
year subscriptions and $2.50 on five-year subscriptions. ^ This offer, which is for
a limited time only, is open to all subscribers, whether they are in arrears or not,
and also to new subscribers.
The political campaign this year promises to be an interesting one and we
feel sure that none of our subscribers will want to miss an issue of The People-
Sentinel. However, it takes money to publish a newspaper and we are making a
special appeal to our friends to send in their remittances at once.
