Use a printed, sturdy material, either linen or imitation linen, with a plain, har monizing color for the trimming line and the belt The vest and collar may be made of organdie, lawn or light weight linen in white, or one of the colors in the print. If the ground of the print is tan, a cream color vest and collar would be best. The dress, however, need not be of printed fab ric. A plain color, If that is 'pre ferred, can be just as attractive an,d becoming. Although the season calls for con trasting colors in trimming, remember that trimmings used in large amounts, such' as the vestT'hnd collar In this dress, should be lighter in color tone than the dress itself. Summer dresses need frequent cleaning, so choose and place your trimmings so that they will wash and look as nice afterward as before.
