Wednesday . nflefnoon the Baptist
Sunday school had a beautiful Christ
mas tree for the children of the school.
The exercises, which were presided
over by Mrs. F. C. Brinkley, wt,re
appropriate and enjoyed by all. Each
child received a beautiful gift and
fruit. A number of parents and
friends of the children were -present.
Sunday night at 7:30 the senior, in
termediate and Junior B. Y. P. U.s
will hold appropriate exercises at the
Baptist church.
R. H. Youngblood, of Wilmington,
N. ., arrived Friday night to spend the
holidays with his parents here. ,
William Hahn, fo Greenwood, is
visiting his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. F. M. Youngblood.
The friends of Mrs. F. D. Bush are
sorry that her coridition was such that
on Wednesday she was taken to the
University hospital in Avgusta for
treatment.
Rev. C. T, Mason and son, Billy, of
Monetta, spent Friday night with
Mr. a nd Mrs - C. J. Youngblood and
Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. E. C.
Carpenter. Mr. Mason’s friends are

The Methodist Sunday school de
lighted the children Friday night with
