CLUB MEETS.
The Columbia College Club met
with Mrs. H. M. Casael* in Ellenton
on Thursday afternoon, December 8th.
After the regular business had been
transacted, the members were enter

Two poems, written by one of the
college professors, were read by
Mrs. Barney Owens. One of these
entitled, “My Alma Mater,” has been
set to music and it being sung at the
club meetingas.
During 4hr social hour, the hos
tess invited her guests into the din
ing room, where delicious refresh
ments were served. The entire lower
floor of Mrs. Camels’ home was ar
tistically decorated with Christmas
berries and red candles.

Blackville, ifcc. 12.—A very pretty
wedding occurred Thanksgiving Day,
at the Sacred Heart church in Black
ville, when Martin J. Hanley, Jr., o
Charleston and Miss Rosina Keeler, o:
Blackville, a former graduate nurse
of Savannah, Ga., wtre married with
a nuptial mass celebration by the Rev.
Father Reddire, of Charleston, assist
ed by the Rev. Father Schonardt, p
Augusta, Ga.
Miss Anna Keeler, sister of the
bride was maid of honor.
Mrs. Jennie Bongham of Savannah,
matron of honor entered with Leo
Crogham, of Charleston. Little
Joseph Keekr, nephew of the bride,
was ring bearer.
The bride entered with her brother,
Igantius Keeler by whom she was
given in marriage and was met at
-the" alter by the bridegroom and his
brother, Stephen Hanley, of Charles
ton. Immediately after the ceremony
a reception was held at the home pf
the bride’s mother, Mrs. Amelia
Krteler and a wedding breakfast serv
ed to the bridal party.
At an early date they will return
to Charleston where they will make
