Williston, Oct. 15.—A meeting of
Martha Watson chapter, D. A. R., was
held at the home of Mrs. J. W. Odior-
ne the afternoon of October 6. The
hostess had guests who added to the
pleasure of the afternoon. Musical

Walker and Mr. Ham lick of the local
school faculty. Miss Hattie Newsom
made an interesting talk on the topic
for the afternoon, “Recreation of the
Modern Home” and gave home makers
and mothers food for thought. Mis.
W. C. Smith, Jr., as fun leader, fur
nished much merriment by having an
old fashioned spelling bee. The hos
