Episcopal Church met Tuesday after
noon at the home of Mrs. S. VrBrown.
After the business session, a pleaant

representing a medicine house in
North Carolina for the past several
weeks, is spending a few days here
with hig family.
The friends of Mrsf. E. J. Sanders
will be glad to learn that she is im
proving since being taken to the B&p-
jtist hospital in .Columbia for treat
ment and will return home in a few
days.

ited Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Greene last

to Summerville Saturday, returning

society set were entertained at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Fowler
on last Friday evening. -
- The rooms were attractively decor
ated with dogwood and azalea. Pro
gressive dates and contests was the
entertainment. ^ Iced punch and
cakes were served in the dining room
during the evening.
FRIDAY.
The Cradle Roll Department of the
Barnwell Baptist Church will give an
Easter egg hunt Friday afternoon at
4:30 o’clock at the residence, of Mrs.
F. S. Brow n on Main 1 Street. An ad
mission fee of 10 cents will be charg
ed, the proceeds being for tfie benefit
of the Cradle Rill. Ice cream will
also be served. The public ig cor
dially invited to attend.

METHODIST LADIES TO
GIVE EGG HUNT.
The People-Sentinel has been re
quested to announce that the ladies
of the Barnwell Methodist Church will
give an Easter egg hunt on the
vacant lot near Dr. C. B. Ray’* resi
dence on Friday afternoon, April 15,
commencing at 4:00 o’clock. An ad
mission fee of 5c will be charged all
who with to take part in the hunt.
Ice cream and candy will be on sale
for those who attand. The egg hunt
is given for the benefit of the build
ing fund.
