Hill, of Snelling, died suddenly about 6:SO o’clock Monday morning. Although he had been in ill .health for more than a year, his death was unexpected and came as a great shock to his many friends throughout the county. His body wa» laid to rest Tuesday afternoon at four o’clock in the Seven Pines Church yard, the funeral services being con ducted by the Rev. C. K. Turner, of Barnwell, in the presence of a large number of sorrowing relatives and sympathetic friends. Mr. Hill, who was 72 years of age, was a farmer and hgd lived in or near Snelling all of his life. He is surviv ed by his wife, who, before her mar- rioge, was Miss Ida Boyles; six daughters, Mm Cleo Smith, of Fort Motte, Mrs. Essie Martin, of Florida, .Mrs. Lizzie Drawdy of Columbia, Mrs. Jeter, of Augusta, Mrs. T. D. Creigh ton, Jr., of Snelling and Miss James- ina Hill, of Snelling; three sons, Messrs. Robert Hill and Willie Hill, <of Birmingham, Ala., and Johnson Hill of SneMmg; one brother, Mr. L. W.
