L. Hill had a close call Sunday afternoon when attacked by a rattlesnake. He had stopped at a small stream to AH his car with water and did not notico'the reptile, which had evidently been lured out of its winter Quarters by the unusually warm weather. He saw a long streak in time to leap back, the snake striking the ground about 18 inches from hia feet. Mr. Hill hurried to hia car to get his pistol but by that time the snake was returning to its quarters in a hollow atump. I can think of at least fifty seri ous disorders, including fatal dis ease of the kidneys, and dangerous liver disorders, that have their ori gin in constipation.
