Celebrate Golden Wedding.
Denmark, December 228.—Quite an
etijoyable occasion was the celebra
tion of the golden-wedding of Mr. and
M-rs. Starling Creech and of the 49th
birthday of their eldest son, Mr. C. J.
Creech, which was held at the home
of and Mrs. Jeter Creech, near
Denmark, on Christmas Day. About
100 guests were in attendance. The
color scheme of green and gold was
beautifully carried out in all the deco
rations, the wedding cake being
adorned with 50 gold candlts and the
birthday cake with 49.
After prayer by the Rev. Castor, of
Bamberg, the guests partook of the
bountiful dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Creech have seven
children, 35 grandchildren and four
great - grandchildren. That God’s
richest blessings may rest on them
for many years to come is the hope of
their host of friends.
