Mrs. Fale’s music pupils will give & recital at the school house Friday Augusta, 6a., May 17.—Announce ment is made of the marriage of Miss Georgia Durken to Mr. Boncil H. Dyches, of Barnwell, S. C., which was a quiet event of Saturday morn ing May 15th, the Rev. J. E. Hender son, of the Presbyterian Church, of ficiating. The bride was most attractive in a gown of soft white crepe, with all ac cessories in similar tones. The wed ding was witnessed only by relatives and a small assembly of friends. Mrs. Dyches is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Durken and is a young girl of rare, charm and loveli ness of nature. Mr. Dyches is the sheriff of Barnwell County and also has extensive fanning interests in South Carolina. The children of Mrs. R. W. Dicks gave her a very pleasant surprise on Sunday when they gathered at her home, the occasion being her birth day, and showered her with lovely rifts as well as a sumptuous dinner.
