Too many people suffer lame, ach

Often this is due to faulty kidney
action and there's danger of harden

disease. Don’t let weak kidneys wear
you out. Use Doan’s Pills before it
is too late! Doan’s are a stimulant
diuretic to the kidneys. Doan’s help

cotton and another 100 pounds as a side
dressing before the first squares appear.
The reason for this is t hat the squares are
set early and fast -before either dry
weather or the weevil can hurt the crop
very much, and a large yield of lint is
produced.
The side dressing is even more impor
tant, however, in a late season such as
we have had this year. It is imperative
if the crop is to be fully profitable, that
there be plenty of available nitrogen in
the soil when the crop really begins to
grow, particularly if not enough Soda was
put under the cotton at planting time.
- That the nitrogen in Nitrate of Sod*
is much more quickly available and there
fore much more efficient than when ap
plied in any of the other materials that

than 20 years of continuous investigations
at the New Jersey Experiment Station,
and also by tests made in European coun
tries which agree with and confirm those
of New Jersey. This fact is of especial in
terest in a season like the present one
when it is of such great importance that
the cotton crop should he pushed ahead
rapidly in order to make up for its de
layed start.
It should^he remembered that profit*
from the crop'are much more dependent
upon high acre yields when cotton prices
are relatively low than when they arc
high. Thus, a side dressing of quickly
available nitrogen at just the time when
the young cotton plants need it most
ihould be a splendid investment this year.
