Entertains Bridge Club.
Mrs. J. Julien Bush entertained
the JVednesday Afternoon Bridge
Clttb this week. Mrs. R. S. Dicks won
the high scbre\prize and Mrs. B. P.
Davies cut the consolation. After the
games a sweet course was served.

An Interesting Visitor.
The People-Sentinel had aVi inter
esting visitor this week in the person
of Chief Sky Eagle, arf Indian from
Michigan who is-here selling Indian
hair tonic. The Chief, who, says he
is 57 years old but who looks con
siderably younger, has traveled ex
tensively in this country and a* he is
apparently well educated proved to be
an excellent conversationalist. This
is not his first visit to Barnwell, he

The highways in this section haye
been damaged greatly in the past
two weeks by the almost incessant

In memory of little John James
Morris, who departed this life on
Nov. 26th, 1926.
Little did Mother dream that little
John, the light of our home, would
so soon be plucked by an angel from
her arms and carried to that home
where there is no tear.* There is 90
precious little John to love, no little
face on which to places kiss. Home
is sad without darling little John, but
lome day we’ll understand why God
took the little flower that He had
