The Johnson Hagood Chapter, U.
D. C., will meet with Mrs. G. M.
Greene on Friday afternoon at four
o'clock, assisting hostesses, Misses
Anna Walker, Kate,. Siinms,Mes-
dames W. A. Hayes and Otto Evan's.
Every member is urged to be present
as this is the last meeting before the
general State Conventions and dele
gates will be elected; also reports
from retiring officers will be had.
Miss Marion Salley, District Director,
is expected to be present and address
the chapter. A musical program is
being arranged and a delightful
meeting is anticipated.

Rev. G. C. Ivey, of Albennale, Ijl.
C., will preach next Sunday, (Nov.
1st), 11 o’clock a. m., at Elko Bap
tist Church and at Mt. Calvary Sun
day evening at 7 o’clock. The pub
