Enjoyable Meeting'
of C. of C. Chapter
On Thursday evening Miss Blanche
Bennett, president of tBe Jennie P.
Greene Chapter, C. of €., entertained
the chapter very charmingly at her
home on Railroad Avenue. This was
the first meeting of the chapter since
its organization and much enthus
iasm was shown in. the work. After
the invocation, Miss Essie Morris ren
dered a musical number. Mrs. G. M.
Greene, Director <Sf the Chapter, ex
plained the work and read a list of
prizes to be competed for before
meeting of the State Convention.
Quite a number of new members were
enrolted, bringing the total up to
around thirty in this chapter. Thorugh-
out the evening musical numbers were
rendered by Misses Blanche Bennett,
Mary Francis Moore and Essie Morris
and the chorus “Oh Susannah” by
the chapter. Miss Essie Morris ex
tended an invitation to the chapter
to meet with her at the next meeting.

first meeting at the Rest Room with
