Garner filled his regular appointment at Nine Forks and Pe ters Creek .the -second Sunday. Miss Elizabeth Robinson, accom panied by Mrs. Robert Batson and children of East Gant, visited home folks Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hunt have moved from their farm to Greenville city. Their son, Henry F., now oc cupies the old home place. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt will be very much missed at Dacusville. The B. Y. P. U. at Peters Creek is again in working. order after th.e winter vacation. So much rain is making disagree able roads and retarding farm work. Peters Creck school re-lected the board of trustees Saturday, namely, J. E. Friddle, W. E. Hunt, and W. E. Simmons. Bonnie Blue. TWELVE MILE SCHOOL NEWS.1 Just one more month of school and the teachers and pupils are pre paring for an entertainment at the closing. Mr. W. A. Mathqws, an expert painter of Piekens, has just finished his job of painting the new Twelve Mile school house. The boys of Martin school came over to Twelve Mile last Thursday for a game of baseball and got de feated by a score of 17 to 11. Hurrah for the Twelve Mile boys! Our boys also went over to Hagood school Monday and defeated that team also. 4 The trustee election held Saturday passed off very quitely, although the largest number of votes were polled that have ever been .polled here. Following is the result of the elec tion: W. M. Hudson, 57. Ed Brazeale, 58; Robert M. Welborn, 58; James L. Stephens, 6; W. Pink Long, 7; Robert SimmoAs, 8. Messrs. Hudson, Braze.. ale and Welborn were elected. - FARM TENANCY IN PICKENS. In 1920, according to the U. S. census report, 53 out of every 100 farms in Pickens county were worked by tenants.
