Ye Editor made a trip over into North Carolina last week, crossing Gatly on foot in company with sey eral others. Afler walking thirty some-odd miles in two days we re turned home in fine shape and feel ing good, the only thing wrong with us being a wrenched knee, a sensa tion in the calf of a leg that felt like curdled milk looks, four blisters on our feet and all our toenails about to come off. - The person who said it is only six miles across Gauley is the same one who named near beer.
