*To the Tax-Payers
* Of Pickens County
a It is to your interest to know the truth in re
a1 lation to your public officers and your public
funds.
It is the pleasure of the Game Department
to give you all the facts onnected with its ad
ministration.
11
Not one cent of the money which supports it
comes out of the pockets of the tax-payers of
City, County or State.
All of its collections come from fines placed
upon law-breakers and from licenses, soldto
11
hunters and sportsmen.
During the twelve months ending June 30th
last enough money was collected from these
sources to pay all expenses and salaries, and Ithe
sum of $13,299.50 was returned to the license
* counties of the State.
Ia
The Department wants you to know that itfisa
* enforcing the game laws in your interests, andn
* that it is to your interest to have them enforced. a
It is a question with our farmers of beautifulu
Sbirds and good crops on the one hand, or poor
crops, weeds and insects on the other.n
Do not allow yourselves to be misled in Ithis
imatter. If your game laws go by the board your
: labor will inevitably be demoralized.
Your local game warden will be glad to work
e with you and for you.
