New Enrollment of Voters This Year Books of Enrollment for the Demo cratic voters of Pickens County will be opened at the flowing places on June 3d. Each voter desiring to enroll will personally write upon the club roll his full name, and immediately thereafter his age, occupation and post office ad dress. . the event of the inability of the app lcant to write his own name, he may make his mark upon the roll, which shall be witnessed by the secre tary of the club, or by a member of the enrollment committee then having the book in charge. The qualifications for membership in any club of the party in this state and for voting at a primary, shall be as fol lows, viz: The applicant for member ship, or voter, shall be 21 years of age, or shall become so before succeeding general election, and be a white Demo crat. He shall be a citizen of the Uni ted States and of this State. No person shall belong to a club or vote in any primary unless he has resided in the state two years and in the county six msonths prior to the succeeding general election and in the club district sixty days prior .to the first p:imary. Provi ded, That public school teachers and ministers of the gospel in cherge of a regular organized church shall be ex empt from the provision of this section as to residence if otherwise qualified. Coal at Central Much trouble is being experienced in getting a supply of coal for the coming winter. It Is entirely up to dlealers to get the coal for the people of Central, the fuel administrator can only assist the dealer in getting his coal. The Is. saqueena Cotton Mills Co. have kindly consented to handle this business pro vided that that they can get the coal from the proper authorities; therefore, anyone wishing coal may communicate with the Issaqueena Mills.
