entered Pickens graded school Monday.
Mrs. B. C. Robinson, of Pickens,
spent the week-end with Mrs. Claude
Welborn in Easley.
Furman Holder left Pickens last week
for Newport News, Va., to enter the
employ of the government.
Mrs. James Hughes and son Brewster
of Laurens county, is visiting her son,
L. E. Hughes, of the Pickens Mill, this
week.
We are informed that a span of the
Old Pickens bridge was recently knock
ed out of place by a large tree and is
impassable.
Mrs. Morrison returned to her home
in Columbia this week after a pleasant
visit to her daughter, Mrs. J.T. Richey,
in Pickens.
Mrs. R. L. Anderson and daughter,
Miss Florella Anderson, of Dacusville,
were guests of Mrs. J. N. Hallum in
Pickens Monday.
