Rook was one feature of entertainment and an other was a question given each lady to answer, the question being, "If you had a husband how would you manage him?" The answers were varied in opinion. Most of the guests decided that to "feed him" was the only one way. But the two best answers were: "Put a ring in his nose and lead him,'" and "Prayer, love and common sense.''
