The late Felix Martin, of Pen
Ileton, who was found dead

Mrs. H. A. Nealey of Pickens.
His death resulted from natural
causes.
Messrs. Malvin Hunt and Bob
Lathem of Dacusville went re
cently to Tennessee to see what
they could see. Malvin has seen
enough to return, but Bob is
lingering in Johnson City,where
he has accepted a position with
a powder mill.

lie Freeman will be glad to kno w
that she has about recovered
from a severe attack .of grip.
Miss Freeman was visiting in
Chester when taken ill about
three weeks ago, byut was able to
return home this week.
J. Wesley Julian has moved
with his family from Easley to
Pickens and they are occupying
a house near the mill. Mr. Jul.
Ian had accepted a position as
constale for Maelstrate Porter
and will also do police wvork at
the mill. We welcome this fam
ily to our townu.

been attending school at Red
Springs, N. C.. suffered a slighi
