Pickens merchants aire enjoy
ing a good trade these days. WVe
heard one merchant remark last
week that at this time last year
he had to almost run a man down
to sell him $:5 worth of goods,
and that now it was a daily oc
currence to sell one person $50
worth of goodsand for cash,too.

Hollingsworth building, next
door to the Pickens bank. Fri

notes and accounts due the old firm
within the next thirty to forty days
