L. E. Wiggins will be sorry to
learn that the beautiful home
of Mrs. Wiggins' mother, in
Nashville Tenn., was destroyed
by fire last week.

A. Morgan of Greenville, was
accidentally shot b~y a playmate

Jesse Morris said he heard wve

Jess says he has put up eighty
cans this summer and expects
to put up 100 more.
Chief Nealy and the balance
of the . street force are doing
some good work on the streets
of Pickens. We notice, 'how
ever, that they begin work on
some streets and do not finish
working the entire street.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Morris
spent some time in Greenville
last week. Mrs. Morris has had
some trouble with her eyes and
while in Greenville had them
treated. We are glad to learn
that she is much improved.
