Whenever a play is presented by home talent in Pickens it is always worth see ing, and "The Village Postoffice," pre sented at the school auditorium last Friday night was but one more proof of that fact. It was a great success in every way, as will be borne witness to by every one of the large audience pres ent. The outlandish costumes, the many local hits gotten off, the musical'selec tions as well as the play itself, were an unending source of merriment, and some of us laughed more than we have in many moons. There were no ugly hitches and the splendid way in which; each one of the actors performed their parts was evidence of the careful train ing they had received. The play was given under the aus pices of class No.. 3 of the Methodist Sunday school, whose purpose was to raise funds to purchase certain furni ture for the Sunday school. The young ladies who compose this class have asked RADE test-the rel n overall.
