Tihe Auditor's abstract shows that he
will collect for the year 1918 to be used
for the ordinary county purposes $40,
500.00. Of this amount s32,200.00 has
been spent. A balance of $8,300.00 re
mains to be applied to the indebtedness
of the county. Taking into considera
tion the fact that the full amount of
taxes to be dsed for ordinary county
purposes will probably not be collected.
it will be seen that the amou-nt owed
will exceed the amoun6 to be collected
by about $1,500.00.

No Matter What Ails You,
Dodson's Liver Tonc Is
Usually a .Big Help In
Getting Well-Avoid
Calomel.
Nine times out of ten, when
you are ill or out of sorts, your
liver is out of order and getting
it in order again will make you
feel better. When your liver is
sluggish and torpid and you are
constipated and bilious, it is im
possible to feel well.
There was a. time when a.
great number. of people took
calomel when so troubled. But
this is not true today. It has
become widely known that cal
omel often has bad af ter-effects
and is even dangerous to many.
The uso of Dodtson's Liver Tone
instead of calomel has spread'
wonderfully because it has prov
ed so beneficial in so many house
holds.
Pickens Drug Co. recommend
and guarantee Dodson's Liver
Tone instead of calomel and
guarantee to refund purchase
price (50) to you instantly with
out question if you are not per
fectly pleased with the way in
which it relieves you from con
stipation, sick headach e, bilious
ness, etc. It "livens the liver"
and is a pleasant-tasting, vege
table liquid, easy to take and
causes no pain, no gripe, no bad
results, no change from your
regular duties and habits.
To test Dodson's Liver Tone is
a sensible matter because you
get your money back if you are
not satisfied.- -Adv,
