Why Leave Pickens.
Why go to Georgia or Texas
or anywhere else. This is as
good a country as can be foud
anywhere. One of our citizens
told us not long ago that he came
to Pickens ten years ago with i
$600.00, and now can show $12,
000. There are a number of
others in this town and other
towns in the countyand through
out the county who have done
0 equally as well.
Another of our citizeis ex
pressed the truth when he said:
"No use to go to Georgia or Tex

could gather."

Then there is the 24-hour man,
who is a story in himself. He )
