which has headquarters in New York.

rounded out its first year as a dally.
It was Started as a. weekly in 1860.

year ago, when Anderson woke up to I
find out that she' needed a morning j
dally so Tho Intelligencer which had
been bought by a joint slock com
pany unfurled Its banner to thu
breezes as a dally.
We aro glad to know that lt has j

itself to be a fearless newspaper
standing for high ideals, not afraid
