"Ye olde time Addier?" will gather in force at Townville high school Thanksgiving night for such a contest ! In melody as has rarely If ever been j equalled in these parts. It will be a Joint affair of fiddlers of Oconee and Anderson Counties and the object of thc function will be to raise funds for the Townville higii school. The entertainment ls sure to attract peo ple for miles around that well known 1 settlement and it is probable that the school will realize a handsome sum as a result f ? Hf?'WW* Some -tu invitations to well known "artists" of Oognee and Anderson Counties have been issued by the principal of (he school. Mr. C. H. Witt, and already he has received re sponses enough to assure the success of the venture. Fiddlers in either county who may not have received an invitation to partic?palo in the contest are invited to come along and bring their Instruments, as the match ls open to anyone in either of the coun ties. . , . An attractive prize list has been ar ranged. Competent judges will be on hand to award the honors of the occa sion. No entrance fee will be charg ed. The contest will begin about 7 o'clock and will continue until well into the night.
