Meeting Is Held At Clemson Colline Program for the annual conven tion of the Association of Southern Agricultural Workers, to be held at Clemson College, October 21 to 23, was received in Anderson yesterday. The ?advance gu ?rd of Ringling Brothers circus arrived in Anderson yesterday afternoon at 1.40 o'clock in the shape of three .'dagoes" and four monkeys. Each of the three carried the familiar grind organ and the child ren of Anderson were almost as well pleased over the first arrivals as they will be with the circus today. --O New Drug Store Doing Business. Lewis Drug Company ls the firm name of Anderson's newest business venture. This store ls located in one of the, new building just completed on South Main Btreet and is one of ?the nicest of Anderson's many drug stores. Dr. Lewis says that yester day's busbies was all that he had expected and that ho was well pleas ed. One of the most tremendous sue I cesses yet staged in Anderson In the way of a "Benedict" supper took place last night at the Chiquola hotel when a number of young men around town gave a banquet in honor of Harry Geisberg, who is to desert the crew on October 14, when he will be married. i It ls said that some of the thirsty camels with Ringling Brothers' cir cus, going by the hotel to the show grounds In the wee small hours of the morang, turned green with envy when they saw the festivities going on. [City Hall Has Been Repainted. Visitors to the city hall yesterday hardly recognized the place since the many Improvements .of the last few days. Painters have been at work on the interior of the building and all the wood work bas been repainted and the walls have been done over.
