Patten, and claiming to be g?n?ral
counsel of the Farmers Union, has
written a letter which is being cir
culated, in which he urges the peo
ple to vote against the re-election
of Congressman Aiken. He makes
only the same charges that have
already been threshed out in the
campaign
Inquiry develops the fact that
Mr. Patten is ? prosessinai lobby
ist in Washington. It is admitted
that he is a somewhat more re
spectable man than a lobbyist of
