DIED v AT AGE OF 82 One of Anderson's Best Citizens -funeral Services Trna Afternoon News was received In tho city last [night of the death of one of Ander son's truest citizens,. J. fi-':Pruitt, who passed away at 9 o'clock at his homo at Starr. He had been unwell for two months, tut recently bad rallied a lit tle. He was in his 82nd year. Mr.. Pruitt was a native of this- county and bis long and useful lifo:i has been known of all the older. oUlzens. - He Is survived by hts, wlite, who was Miss Cynthia Parker, how 79 years old. and by 10 children, *R'. ' W., J. H., John C., E. J. and W. L. Pruitt, all of this county; Mrs. RwtW..?Drake, ot Donalds; Mrs. J. J. Finley, Mrs. J. L. Jackson, Mrs W. T. Mprrlapn and Mrs. W. O. Bowie, all Ot this county. Tho funeral services will be held I this afternoon ot B o'clock at Cross Road Baptist church; conducted by [the Rev. J. L Yass,,of Greenville.
