A Personal Word t> My Patrons ail th:* PaV/u:
I lin ve seen this picture. I made a trip for the spec al purpose of seeing it. It was a private exhibi
tion given to motion picture men. I can't try to tell you of the emotions and impressions this pic
ture produced upon me. Language is inadequate. I can only say that in all my career as a motion
picture exhibitor I have never been so thrilled, so moved, so spellbound as I was witnessing
?he scenes of this tragic drama. All human emotions are expressed-love, anger hate, jealousy,
more vividly by reason of the greater capacit y of this strange strong man. I came away from this
exhibition dazed and sile cut. The memory of it all remains with me yet. I want you to see this pic
ture. I want you to feel w hat I 'nave felt. And sosurc is my knowledge that its effect, its sublimity is
all and more than I can te ll you of I will gladly refund you the price of your admission at my box
ollice on your way out if you feel that you have not had your money's worth.
